Moving Through the Alphabet

Amble, bounce, creep, dash—and keep going all the way to Z. This playful alphabet book pairs rhyming verses with Nancy's colorful illustrations to introduce a whole alphabet of action words.

Some words will feel familiar. Others, like gyrate, quiver, and undulate, offer something new to try. Read together, explore what the words mean, and see how many ways you can move.

Written and illustrated by Nancy Elder, Moving Through the Alphabet brings letters, language, and movement together for a lively read-aloud at home or in the classroom.
